Local Luvleyness

Introducing our local pizza

We’ve been cruising across the West Country, hunting down the best local ingredients from small, independent producers. Back in the kitchen, we mixed, marinated, and finally, we loaded up our pizzas with all the newly sourced larder of local ingredients. To be quite honest, we’re proud as punch to be keeping things local and supporting some seriously awesome artisinal producers, and we’re pretty happy with just how delicious they are too.

Try our Harbourmaster pizza, topped with Thorner’s bacon, Davidstow 40 month matured cheddar, roasted wild mushrooms, garlic flat mushrooms, a drizzle of truffle oil and a light sprinkling of parsley.

Our cheddar is proudly sourced from North of Padstow, in a village called, you guessed it, Davidstow. This multi-award winning cheddar is known for it’s intensely rich, complex, caramel-like flavour and crunchy texture. Simply put, it’s sensational. Davidstow Farm has been going strong for over 70 years, ever since the creamery was founded on a former WW2 RAF aerodrome.

Next up, our Bacon comes from Thorner’s of Somerset, a family-owned butchery that’s been perfecting their craft since 1979. If you’re serious about your bacon, these guys have got you covered – top-notch quality and flavour, every time.

If that’s got your mouth watering for a taste of local, pop in and visit us at The Padstow Stable. You’ll find us sitting right on the harbourfront. Can’t miss us.
