Ansum’ bites for the season

As the nights draw in and the chill sets in, there’s no place quite like The Stable. Pints at the ready, piping-hot pizzas and long overdue catch-ups that turn into one more round.

This autumn, we’ve whipped up some bites well worth getting stuck into, using some cracking produce from a few South West gems. First up, The Pony bringing the creamy, smoky and sweet heat together in one, with a mascarpone base, 9-month matured Black Down Ham from Somerset Charcuterie, roasted garlic mushrooms, parmesan, red onion, rocket and a drizzle of hot honey. Then there’s the Cornwall x Devon Standoff… Cheese First! No picking sides in this one, just good old West Country cheese. Think Cornish Yarg from Lynher Dairy, Devon Blue from Sharpham Cheese, pickled red onion, rocket and fresh parsley. End it all on a sweet note with our homemade Baileys Cheesecake which is only sticking around until Christmas, so don’t miss it.
